To great friends!

With friends we grow, and nourish our souls,
Whether we laugh or fight, its our story to be told,
Like vines we entwine, for the passers by, what do we care,
As long as we are together, we hum along our fare.

But life has its own plans, and vines have to follow them too,
Some of us part in distance, and go to some place new,
Yet friendships are not to be forgotten, whatever life may show,
Those moments are in our hearts forever, and with memories we continue to grow.

Shell Pragmatic and Shell Ideology were having their usual stroll on the beach when they came across an elderly shell, all alone, searching frantically for her daughter shell who was supposed to pick her up after being washed ashore. Pragma wanted to just keep walking on, but Ideo disagreed. "Lets help the lady, Pragma, she looks like she needs help". "Oh ok," grunted Pragma. After a few hours of searching, the old shell was united with her daughter, and Ideo had a satisfied grin on his face. "Pragma, I cannot imagine why you hesitate to do good! See how satisfying it feels?". "Yeah", retorted Pragma, "that is all you'll get - feeling of satisfaction and that ain't going to fill m' shell you know! Haven't you heard? 'Doing good is reward in itself' they say. You know why? Because there ain't any rewards for good work like there are punishments for errors! You see those court houses? Do you see any "good citizen reward houses"? "

In the funny space.. err.. zone..

After having stayed in a one bedroom apartment for as long as we remember, we were running out of space fast. We were done filling the garage, storage room, and storage containers! One Sunday morning, as we lazed in bed, I mumbled, "That's it, we've had a mattress on the floor as a "bed" for long enough. We need to buy a bed frame!". "Yeah", replied my husband, "we should do that...". "That way", I continued, "we'll get more space under the bed to put more stuff!".

My husband decided that we were moving into a bigger apartment that very day.

(Inspired by a true life story - mine! :) )
